Forrest Oldham Obituary

Forrest Robert Oldham III of Mission Hills, KS, died on April, 10, 2003, in Houston, TX. Bob was born on January 13, 1948 in Houston, to Suzanne O'Leary Oldham and Forrest Robert Oldham Jr. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Houston and later attended Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, KS. Bob graduated from Vanderbilt University where he received a degree in engineering and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He also earned a math degree and physics minor while at the University of Southern Mississippi. Bob attended Naval Flight School in Pensacola, FL in 1971. Beginning his career in Houston as an engineer for Southern Engine and Pump Co., Bob went on to work for Industrial Sales at Toshiba International for 25 years. In 1984, he moved to Kansas City with his family to be Toshiba's Midwest Regional Sales Manager. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Suzanne. He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart and wife of 33 years, Judy Price Oldham and his beloved daughters, Jennifer, Courtney and Jessica; his sister, Susan Oldham Thornhill, resides in New Braunfels, TX. Devoted to his wife and three daughters, Bob was known by all as a kind and gentle soul. Graveside services for Bob will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston on Tuesday, April 15, at 1 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, 5300 Main Street, at 2 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of Greater Kansas City (Rheumatoid Arthritis), 3420 Broadway, Suite 105, Kansas City, MO 64111.
