My prayers to the family and friends. May you rest in the arms of the Lord

May 15, 2011

Well Dad here we are, its May 14th, Happy 80th Birthday! We all got together tonight for your birthday. We had all the lobster and steaks you were saving for the occasion. We went over Johnny and Margie's. Johnny picked, cleaned and fried about 5 frosias of garduni's. They were layerping! Johnny worked real hard to make a nice birthday for you and he did a great job. I made a homemade apple pie just like moms. You would of loved the spread. We wanted to honor your birthday. We shared a lot of stories about you. Aunt Mary Ann and Flo Leber came over along with your kids and grandkids. We all miss you very much. The kids keep thinking your going to pop in anytime.

Dad I wanted you to stay with us longer so we could of celebrated your birthday with you and we wanted you to see Frankie and Marc graduate from High School. I know you were ready to see mom again. You wanted to dance with her and celebrate your birthday with her. I don't blame you! Mom is wonderful and I miss her something awful and I am so glad you two are together again.

So dad, please continue to shine down on us and give mom a hug and a kiss for me and thank you for being my father.

Happy 80th Birthday,
I love you,
Louie

I was lucky enough to know Frank and Anna Mae from the card rooms here in Kansas City and they are both missed very much. As a supervisor of the room I enjoyed listening to Franks stories and always appreciated the goodies he brought in that his daughter made. I have known Frank 16 years and feel honored to have him as my friend. Claudia Charboneau

To My Dad,

It warmed my heart to see the outpouring of people who came to pay their respects to you. I enjoyed hearing all the wonderful, funny stories about you. I am very proud to be your son.

Although we wanted you to keep fighting so you can stay with us longer I am glad you are not suffering. Can you blame us? We loved having you around. I will miss you popping in with a handful of banannas, a half eaten cake and some really ripe tomatoes. You told me to always have tomatoes on your counter. I will miss not cooking for you. I know you enjoyed my cooking being taught by mom and her being taught by Nani Downstairs. It will be hard not seeing you around the dinner table.

It brings me great comfort to know you are in good company up there. I could imagine mom,Marcie,Nani & Nanu, Aunt Toots and many others welcoming you. What a glorious time you all are going to have.

Dad it was hard to let you go but I promise to keep making you proud. I will continue to be a good father, brother, nephew and friend. I will cherish the many memories that you and mom made for us. I will love my family forever. Thank you dad and rest peacefully.

Love,
Louie

Prayers for the family during this difficult time. Mr. Pisciotta always made me smile. He made sure to give me more than my share of fruit when I was pregnant with my daughter...to this day she can survive on a fruit only diet if she was allowed! Peace be with each of you.

To my dear friends the Pisciotta's...My heart goes out to you all. We had a lot of good times living next door to each other growing up from toddlers to adults we have been through a lot together. I loved your dad he was very special to me. I think of all the time we spent together as individuals and together as families and it was what my childhood was made of, the blue truck in the driveway loaded with apples, hiding on top of it for hide n seek just many memories. I have a smile knowing in my heart that Frank,Annamae, and my mom and dad are all together once again looking down at us. I love you all, your friend Prudy
