I was saddened to see Fred Bopp's passing in today's paper. I was one of the scouts in Troop 27 when Danny was active and Fred was a leader and merit badge counselor. In my mind's eye, I go back about 40 years to see this handsome, dapper man in regulation adult scout attire, conducting a merit badge class with a very friendly and sincere interest in helping any scout who needed it. He was a great role model and a valued member of our community.

Marilyn and Carolyn,
Please know you and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. The loss of a parent is always hard, no matter how old we are.
