Cindi and Crissy,
I was trying to find Fred's phone number to give him a call and wish him well for the holidays and I found this memorial to him.

Fred was my childhood and lifelong friend. Almost two years older than me, he was my best buddy. We did everything together and after I moved to Florida, we remained good friends until he found the love of his life.

He had a great imagination and was such a good friend. All of the memories of such a great man, good father, loving husband, loyal son.

With both of us being only children, we bonded like no others. we were insepperable in our neighborhood in Eastwood Hills.

My heart is saddened, but he is with his family and it is good that my friend will be there waiting for us.

I will miss him! You were so fortunate to have 32 years with him. He loved you guys so much!

Cindi and Chissy,
I use to work with Fred at DDS, then GTI, and I recall many happy times. I remember the daily crossword puzzles, department practical jokes, the intense vacation planning but mostly I remember his laugh. May you find comfort in your memories of Fred. He touched many lives and we are the better for it.

Cindy & Chrissy,
So sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with all of you at this time. He made a lot of people laugh daily at GTI and always talked about both of you.

Cindi & Crissy,

Patty and I wish to convey our most sincere condolences to you and Fred's many friends.

Because Fred was so young and relatively healthy, this has stunned us, particularly after Buell's recent death. We are only just now realizing and accepting what has happened.

We cannot possibly grieve and miss Fred as much as you, but his absence has left a great empty space in our hearts.

Although nearly 20 years separated our ages, we did not live close to one another, and while it has been several years since we last met, we belonged to a tightly knit loving family and communicated frequently.

Each opportunity to gather was a memorable occasion and we cherished each one. I am certain had we lived closer, Fred and I would have been more like brothers than 1st cousins. It was a joy working with Fred and Buell to clarify family tree history. Recalling all the good times will bring back many fond memories.

With Fred, you received precisely what he said; what you saw and you expected. He was everything a good husband, father and son could be…Intelligent, generous, loyal, caring, dependable, with a good sense of humor and fiercely devoted to his family.

Fred loved God and trusted Him fully, so we have taken comfort in knowing God is faithful and has brought Fred home to suffer no more sorrow or pain; only eternal happiness and joy.

The Lord has His own plan and time-table so we must trust Him and remember Fred is not lost to us forever; we will meet again…Praise God!

We apologize for not being able to attend Fred's services, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Much love,

Joe, Patty, Kurt, Keith, Kevin & Kyle Phillips

Cindi and Christina, I had the pleasure of having God put your husband and father in my life. Many a lunch hour was spent discussing his love for his family and working the Times crossword puzzle. Fond and lasting memories. May you take comfort in knowing Fred has gone to be with our maker. Grace and Peace to you.
