My memories of Gerry started when she lived in the big house near us, she was in kindergarden and had long pigtails. She was probably the first child I babysat. Gerry tagged along with Skip and I as we walked to Welborn School. AS time went by our age of 6 years difference was not so large and we introduced her to Roy. And you all know how that story ended. Gerry was very much a part of my life for many years as she grew into a beautiful caring lady. We all will miss her smiles and hugs.

My first memory of Gerry was when Roy wanted us to meet her. We double dated and went bowling. Not long after meeting her, I remember Uncle Roy (Roy Sr.) asking me if she was good enough for Roy. They were a perfect match in God's eyes and all of the friends they acquired during their marriage. A special memory for me was in about 1973 or 74, we surprised our kids with a trip to Disneyworld. We met at the airport and the kids were so surprised. We spent many holidays together, and life was just better because of Roy & Gerry. We decided that we were sisters and it was a love that was never broken. See you soon Gerry! Love Marge
