Harold Coots Obituary

Harold W. Coots, 64, of Hamilton, Mo., passed away August 15, 2007. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., followed by funeral services at 5 p.m., on Sunday, August 19, at the Lathrop Christian Church, Lathrop, Mo. Cremation will follow the service. Harold was born September 24, 1942, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Edgar and Julia (White) Coots. He was a mechanic since the age of 10, and owned and operated Coots Carburetion and Service Center in Lathrop and Kearney for many years. He was also a contract carrier for the Kansas City Star and was a farmer. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Billie; daughters Kimberly Dawn and Gale Sue; brother Tommy, and great grandson Garrett. He leaves his wife of 17 years, Linda, of the home; children Chelsea Coots of the home, Danny Russell of Hamilton, Mo., Pat Coots and wife Lisa of New Hampton, Mo., and Sam Coots and wife Laura of Lathrop, Mo.; five grandchildren, Garry, Nicole, Kimberly, Justin and Madison; four great grandchildren Aaliyah, Tyler, Breanna and Keaton; three brothers, Rick, Ray and Terry; four sisters, Millie, Theresa, Evelyn and Janie; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I have great memories of Harold, and am very saddened by the news of his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and all of those that knew and loved him.
Life is precious and should not be taken for granted.

Tracy and Dana I am so sorry to hear about the Death of your Father..He will be missed so much by all of us..
