HELEN L. GRATTON

Helen L. Gratton, 99, of KCMO passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Newmark Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7009 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. The family suggests contributions to Our Lady of the Snows, 442 S. Demazenod Dr., Belleville, IL, 62223 Helen was born September 11, 1912 in KCMO and had lived in this area all of her life. She and her husband were the Co-Owners of Acme Radiator and Air Conditioning, a business established in 1929. Helen had worked at the business into her mid 80's. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Gratton in 1965. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, John M. and Sue Gratton of KCMO, Charles P. and Nancy Gratton of Basehor, KS, her 6 grandchildren, David, Steve, Phillip, Jeffrey, Kellie and Patrick, 10 great grandchildren and 11 great- great grandchildren.
