A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7009 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Helen was the wife of my father's uncle.
(My Dad, John "Jake" Grattan, was oldest son of Francis Grattan.) Dad's cousin, Kevin Gratton called with the news, and my Aunt Alice forwarded this e-mail. I attended the Gralton/Gratton/ Grattan Reunions in Kansas in 95, 98, 99,04,08. I do remember meeting Helen and her family, most likely in 98 and 04. SHE TOLD MANY STORIES, FUNNY & SERIOUS, ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF ACME, THE LONG HOURS SHE, CHARLIE & MIKE PUT IN TO BUILD THE BUSINESS. SHE HAD A VERY LONG & PRODUCTIVE LIFE. I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL TO ALL THE GRATTONS FOR THEIR HELP & UNDERSTANDING. SHE IS NOW WITH CHARLIE AGAIN.
