ISABELLE CLARK Obituary

Isabelle Napier Clark of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Centerpointe Hospital with her children by her side. She was 96. Born in Richland, Michigan, November 28, 1914 to James and Bella Napier, Izzy grew up on the Sni-A-Bar farm in Grain Valley, Missouri. She received her bachelors degree in home economics from the University of Missouri before she married the love of her life, Allan. When she was unexpectedly widowed with two children to care for, she returned to the University for her degree in teaching. She then taught home economics at Fort Osage High School for more than twenty years. She loved to work in her garden and to talk about politics. She shared her wisdom and strength of character with her family, friends, and neighbors, offering comfort and sage advice to everyone around her. Isabelle is survived by her son James, his wife Chris and their daughters Nicole and Megan; and her daughter Annabelle Gafke, her husband Roger, their children Marcia and Clark and his wife Marilynn and daughters Lauren and Amanda. There will be a small family graveside service held at the Blue Springs Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Republican National Committee.
