(HENNESSY) MOORE MARCH 13, 1928 - JULY 1, 2012 Jacqueline Theresa (Hennessy) Moore, 84, Kansas City, KS, died Sun., July 1, 2012, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, after a long illness. Visitation will be Thurs., July 5, from 6-8 p.m., at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Funeral services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions to the U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 96570, Washington, DC 20077-7685. A longtime resident of Kansas City, KS, Jacqueline started her life in New York, where she was born on March 13, 1928, in Queens. She was a graduate of Valley Stream High School in Long Island, NY, and was employed as a model at the William Thorton Agency, New York, NY. Jacqueline was united in marriage to William R. Moore at the Merchant Marine Academy Chapel, Kings Point, NY. William and Jacqueline moved to Kansas City, KS, in 1953, where she was employed at Thompson Hayward Chemical Company. Jacqueline was an alternative medicine herbalist and the family genealogist. With her extensive genealogy research and knowledge, she authored the genealogy treatise, "Ancestry of Some Kings and Commoners," which is catalogued at the Library of Congress. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Hennessy and Anna (Scepaniak) Hennessy; her husband, William Russell Moore; and sister, Harriet (Hennessy) Jankowski. Those left to honor her memory include her two loving sons, Russell Moore and his wife Pamela, Basehor, KS, and Clifford Moore, Kansas City, KS; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
