Dear Laura, I did not know that Jim died until I met our neighbor. Larry has been in the hospital for a month, and I did not read the paper that day. I am so sorry that I missed seeing you. My love and prayers to you. I will see you soon. Love Peggy and the entire Hamtil family.

Laura,
I was surprised to hear of your husband's passing. I get frequent updates about your family through my mom.
You, Robert and Becca are in my thoughts.
In sympathy,

Laura, I was shocked to learn that your husband had passed away. I didn't realize that he was that ill.
I remember that you said he was very patient at being home and not having many visitors. Know that I am sorry to learn of his death, but perhaps life was not holding many joys for him of late.
I will be sending the memorial in his name to Hospice today from the Woman's Club. My deepest sympathy,
Doris
