She and her husband spent many summers and winters in the mountains in Colorado and contributed to the Aspen Music Festival, both as donors and volunteers. Jane is survived by her brother, John M. Tarbox of South Bend, IN, and her nephews, John D. Tarbox of Indianapolis, IN, and Richard P. Tarbox of Minneapolis, MN, and by her beloved cat Shadow. Arrangements are being handled by D.W. Newcomer's Sons Stine and McClure. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on September 20 at the Second Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, MO. A reception will follow at 3 Janssen Place.
