Jean Gordon Dibble Obituary

Jean Gordon Dibble
August 28, 1933 - March 16, 2022
Sausalito, California - Jean Gordon Dibble, 88, passed away peacefully on March 16 surrounded by family at her home in Sausalito, California.
Jean was a lifelong Kansas City resident and married to Dan Dibble for 51 years. After Dan's passing Jean moved to Sausalito, California, to be closer to family.
Jean was a fierce advocate of volunteerism and logged countless hours with the American Red Cross, Junior League of Kansas City, Volunteer Action Center, and the Guadalupe Centers of Kansas City.
Always enthusiastic, Jean loved riding her horse in the American Royal parades in that uniquely Kansas City tradition each Fall. Jean's love of sailing and the water was a perfect match for her living in Sausalito these past 15 years.
Jean attended Bradford College and the University of Kansas where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. There she met Dan while in school and they married in 1955.
Jean leaves behind three children, Nancy, David, and Tom, as well as ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Red Cross or the Guadalupe Centers of Kansas City.
