JEFFERY LYN TRUSSELL

Jeffery Lyn Trussell, 54 of Kansas City, MO, passed away July 29, 2012. Graveside service will be 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence. Jeffery was born Dec. 23, 1957 in Kansas City, KS to Harold and Ollie Trussell. Jeffery loved music and anything that had to do with Elvis, the Beatles and John Lennon was his favorite. He was known as the singing machine. 'Hustle- Trussell', as he was called by many people, liked woodworking and yard work. He worked 25 years, mostly for JE Dunn Construction Company as a laborer, and was a member of Laborers Union Local #264. He had a way to make people laugh and was always there for his family. He took great pride in his daughters' lives especially Tara graduating from Cosmetology School and Kelly being a wonderful mother. Jeffery will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded into death by his parents, and 1 sister. He is survived by 2 daughters: Tara Kay Trussell of Kansas City, MO, and Kelly Lynn Trussell of Eldorado Springs, MO, 2 brothers, Jake and Dale; 5 sisters: Carol, Janie, Sue, Pat, Letha, Dana, and 3 grandchildren: Alyzaae, Cole, and Tommy.
