Jeff never knew a stranger. He could talk to someone for hours. He also loved to talk about his daughters Morgan and Maddy. I've never met them but I felt like I knew them through all his great stories. I know he loved fishing and camping, he loved those weekend get-a-ways with his Dad (Gene) family & friends. Ruby was his life too. He loved that dog!! Jeff, you were the best real estate partner ever! You have the biggest heart, you have such a kind soul and you would do anything to help a person in need. Thank you for always being there for me. No one will ever replace you! I miss you! Sending Big Hugs and Lots of Love to you in Heaven! Debi

Marilyn and I send our thoughts and prayers to the whole family. I remember when Jeff would bug his dad for a happy meal. Never forget the biannual camping trips with Jeff and the Hadel Clan.

My condolences to Jeff´s daughters and family. I met Jeff in 2004 while working at Indy Mac. He was so kind and funny. He always spoke so highly about his daughters throughout the years. May you cherish all of the beautiful memories that you share.

I volunteer with Toni at Operation Wildlife. Once a year, OWl had a BBQ fundraiser, and Jeff would come and cook all afternoon. His help was so appreciated. When Morgan and Maddy were in Kansas City, they often came to help grandma Toni feed hawks, eagles, and falcons outside. Loving on small opossums were their favorite thing to do! Toni would often share how Jeff was bringing over grilled veggies and would stay to watch the Chiefs or the Royals together. The sudden news of Jeff's passing is still hard to understand. I am so glad Toni and the girls are surrounded by loving family and friends.

Jeff was an awesome human being. Always eager to help and would do anything in the world for you. He was one of our volunteers at Operation WildLife and the best fire starter ever! Sometimes it was a bit scary because you could see his eyes twinkle when he played with fire. Cooking was a passion and when I was laid up after a surgery he made homemade meatballs so I didn't have to cook. The pan was full of them and they provided many meals for myself and my family. But that's who Jeff was - always willing to lend a hand and paid attention to the needs of others without being prompted. We're going to miss him - rest easy my friend.

We got to know Jeff over the years through his wonderful daughter. I was impressed with his giving nature and the love he had for his family. (We also enjoyed his barbecue.)

We've lost a good man. Jeff, always the kind gentle soul, shared his insights with great affection and true caring. He loved his two girls Morgan & Madison, they filled him up. Jeff never failed to demonstrate an extraordinary loving kindness and emotional depth in all family gatherings. He has left a trail of beautiful memories.

I'm saddened to hear this news. Jeff was my neighbor at KSU on Laramie St. Jeff was an awesome neighbor. We had many good times with lots of shenanigans! Always smiling. We shared the same birthday. I always thought I'd see Jeff again. He was on my "got to find him again" list. Sorry we didn't get the chance to reconnect. My condolences to his family. RIP Jeff. EMAW

I am so glad that I had the privilege of living next door to Jeff for the last 16 years. He made such a positive impact on not only my life, but my entire family. Jeff has been a part of so many major events with my family. He will truly be missed. And I am sad I no longer have my buddy to trade BBQ samples with over the fence. My condolences to the entire Hadel family.
