What's there left to say? I see you in my dreams every night, even to this day. So many of the best memories of my life were shared with you. I didn't appreciate them enough when you were around, now all I wish for is just one more memory with you.
When I met you, you were the lost and lonely girl sitting on those stairs, so unsure of yourself. The memory is so vidid. But now I always see you in my mind; proud, brave, smiling and dancing.
I'm proud of the strength you found in yourself, and glad I was a part of your life.
I truly hope you went in peace, but all I can do is wonder.
~forever your penguin~

Jessica, I wish that I had got to know you better. I was so impressed by your zest for life and your positive spirit, in spite of your terrifying illness. I've been looking at your pictures and reading about your accomplishments and I am amazed. Even though I only saw you a few times, I will always remember your sweet face. Thank you for being my daughter's friend, and thank you for inspiring us with your courage and love. It was a great honor to have met you and I will always cherish that memory. Bless you and your family.

Jessica. One of the best friends I have ever known. We met in Hong Kong...and I fell in love with her charm and zest for life. From there we became great friends at KU. Last summer, we were both pleasantly surprised that we had received internships in the same city...Minneapolis. As expected, we shared a great summer together. This past year at KU, Jessica and I became even closer as we spent countless hours together...not trying to change the world, but living life through the littlest daily encounters. A more persistent, outspoken and determined person I have never met. I was shocked to hear the news that she had passed on. Only a few weeks ago we spoke, and, as always Jessica was extremely optimistic. That is what I loved most about her. She will be truly missed. My sincerest condolences go to her family and friends.

Jess, Grandma and Grandpa Roark miss you very much. You were such an inspiration to us all. It is a test of our beliefs of why God chose to take you now at such an early time. I'm sure you would have contibuted so much had you survived this cancer. You had accomplished so much in a short time. God bless you Love You

Jess gave me something I thought I would never have and that would be a daughter. She came into my life at the age of 5 and left me at the age of 25. We had such great times together as well as bad. We had laugh and cry and I could never express in words how much she meant to me. She was so shy as a young one yet grew up to be the most outspoken person I think I ever knew. She would always try to get you not to worry about her cancer and would always tell me it would be ok we could get through this, she was the bravest person I have ever known she was and always will be my hero. She had strenght and courage like no other.

Jessica, I will forever miss you. You are such an inspiration to all, and you will live on forever in our hearts. I have so many great memories of you, from when we were babies until just recently, and I will hold onto these special memories forever. You left your mark on this world.
My condolences go out to all of Jessica's family, friends, and loved ones. I pray God gives you strength, warmth, and love in your time of grief. And always know, you are not alone.
I love you so very much Jessica. You were the best cousin, but as always, you were like the sister I never had. Even though the pain of losing you is still so strong, I take comfort in the fact you are no longer in pain, no longer suffering, and at peace. I look forward to the day we are together again.
