Jim Siddons Obituary

Jim Siddons passed away peacefully at his home in Prescott, Ariz., March 8, 2008. Jim was born on June 15, 1928 in Milwaukee, the son of Loretta and James Kenneth Siddons. He graduated from Juno High School in 1946. Some of Jim's fondest memories from high school were building rockets with friend future astronaut James Lovell. In 1950, he graduated from the Marquette University School of Engineering. Jim worked for American Airlines in Tulsa from 1967 to 1982 when he became president of Tri-City Refueling in Kansas City. After retiring, he and his wife "Dee" opened Willow Lake Bed and Breakfast on a farm near Warrensburg, Mo. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered at Central Missouri State University. Jim and Dee moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 2005 to be near their daughter. He is survived by his wife Dolores "Dee", of 57 years, formerly of Williams Bay, Wis.; son Jeff and wife Marti, Tulsa; daughter Sarah Bowers and husband Greg, Prescott; son Paul, Belton, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Nancy and I were very surprised and saddened that Jim had passed away. We remember and still talk about the great weekends spent in Hawaii.
