When my sister, Jeannie Shepard was diagnosed with breast cancer, Joanie offered many words of comfort and support to us. I firmly believe that God has a special place for Joanie in heaven. She was certainly an angel to us here on earth. Our prayers for Craig and the family.

Joanie was truly a remarkable lady. Threads through our lives started when I got my first insurance job in 1978 and met this great gal! I have fond memories of serving her a glass of wine at my home, when she came for a haircut or perm. We didn't see each other often the past few years but when we would run into each other-she always smiled and we hugged. All our lives are brighter for having known her. Craig and family--my heartfelt sympathy. She's in heaven rejoicing for good health and living on in each of you.

My heartfelt sympathy to you all; Joanie was a wonderful friend to my family, and a great inspiration in the last 12 years. She encouraged me alot when Mike and I ventured into a second marriage with advice that meant a great deal to me. I will never forget how she made me laugh when describing her weight loss from her illness. . .among many other fond memories over the 40 years I knew her. Kelly and Craig, please know we are here for you and your families!

The Trowbridge Family,

From our hearts and home, we extend a sincere message of Faith, Hope and Love. These three precious gifts are but a few of the beliefs that Joan lived! I consider it an honor to have known her, worshiped with her and laughed with her. Strength to those of us she leaves behind, until we're together again!

Sincerely,

Our precious Lord has yet another awesome Angel is heaven now! Having just seen Joanie the night before she passed, I would like to share some thoughts about that evening. Two of her school day friends were there along with Kelly & Craig. Julia was entertaining us with a ballet performance while Blake was so cute mimicking her. The classical music in the background and our lively conversations surely were heard by Joanie & I like to think she spent her last night smiling inside very peacefully. As her obituary states, all we blessed by her possitive attitude and genunine spirit. My sincere symphathies to all who loved her.

Joan was so much fun to be around.

Full of spirit and always a smile on her face. Halloween was a special holiday for all of us when Joni was present - no candy, no check was her motto! We will always remember her for her kindness. My sympathyand prayers to all of you.
