Sorry that I could not make the service yesterday. Our thoughts & prayers are with Nancy as well as the entire Hocker family. I met John at KU, but we lost track of each other over the years. When I moved to KC, we reconnected. He sure enjoyed the Royals & saw him ushering on several occasions. He will be missed.

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing John, I knew Tom and I know Betty and they both knew my husband Greg and his parents Ruth and Ken Colston. I just met Nancy yesterday at church and we have the connection of losing our spouses. I and other church friends know and understand the loss of a spouse too young. I look forward to connecting and supporting you, Nancy, on your journey?
