I have know Mr. Jaklevic since I was in grade school and spent many hours at their house and on the ballfields. He always gave us great encouragement no matter how we played. On the golf course a true gentleman.
To Mrs. Jakelvic, John, Nancy, Steve and Jim my deepest sympathies. I am sorry I cannot be there for support but you are in my thoughts and prayers

Jaklevic Family,
Many great memories of our childhood on 22nd Garfield. One in particular Mom would not wake up from a deep sleep on the couch. I went racing into the Jaklevic house claiming Mom had died. Mr. Jaklevic raced over to our house and awoke Mom as she layed exhausted on the couch. I recall hearing our parents voices as they share their life's experience late at night in the driveway.I will never forget my neighbors and cherish my childhood. Mr Jaklevic thank you for all the loving memories.
Love You All

I remember Mr Jaklevic sitting on the front porch on Garfield with my former father-in-law talking over a 3&2 ballgame they just coached. Those were the days. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Jack,
I can't even imagine what you are going through right now, but know this my friend, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your Dad was like a second Father to me and we will always remember the good times we had with him when we were in school. Take care Jack, and know that I love you and you will always be a brother to me. Give your family hugs for me, and may God bless and keep you in this time of grief.

Warm thoughts of happy memories and condolences to the Jaklevic and Barrett families on our loss. We'll tip our heads back together in a toast to Uncle John (I'll choke back the slivo) ... and smile as each of our individual memories wash over us and finally, we'll feel relief because he is no longer in pain. He will be missed. May you rest in peace Uncle John ... praying for you Aunt Jody.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, ... for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4

Mr Jaklevic was such a fun guy to be around. He always was genuinely interested in what you were doing. I always appreciated that!
Every time he saw me in church, he would look up at the roof in fear that the roof was going to come crashing down because he knew God was going to punish me somehow. He was just afraid to be in the same building with me. All this with a little smile on his face. God Bless Mr Jaklevic!
