I just learned yesterday of John's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family and friends. I used to see John mowing my neighbor's yard and visited with him from time to time. When I had foot surgery in 2006, I asked John to mow my yard and he did a terrific job. I could tell by the way he took care of my neighbor's yard that he took great pride in his work. I will miss seeing him each summer. He had a beautiful smile which seemed to broaden whenever he talked about his mom. May God comfort and bless you.

To Mary and Family;
My mom (Bette Campbell from Chillicothe) and I saw the obituary in the Chillicother paper and wished to express our sympathy for your loss. Daddy died in 97 and Mom now lives in Springfield in a house close to us. I knew you were all in the KC area but wasn't sure where. We are so sorry for your loss. Take care and email sometime. I hope the rest of your family is doing well...
Take care,
Janie Campbell

My dear friend, Mary:
I send my sincere sympathy for the loss of John. I just cannot believe it. I’ll always be grateful for all of his help on my lawn care. He was full of energy, laughter, and was so kind to people. I know how hard it is to lose your child but do cherish and hold onto your memories. Speak often of him. It will in time give you comfort and peace.
God bless you and your family.

To the family of John David Kenney:
I wish to express my sincere sympathy to John's mother, Mary, my classmate, as well as to all of his family. I wore his father's football number 43 after he graduated and was honored to do so.

Mary & Randy,
We, just today, heard about John. Please know that our hearts cry for you. I sent the obit out to the "57 folks...hope that is OK. Of course, you will get the copy also. That wasn't very smart on my part...but I did want the others to be able to read it. God give you rest & peace, especially now. We love you. Dwain & Shirley

recognition of other's, John always spoke as passing by.There

Mary, I will miss seeing John's smiling face in the shop and his eagerness to talk health issues with a remedy. He had such respect for you and your knowledge.
I know there is nothing anyone can say to ease the pain you are feeling over John's death. Your faith will have to pull you through in knowing that he's in a place where he can hunt everyday and be free of pain and suffering.
I will pray for you and your family.

I'm so very sorry to hear about John's passing. John lived across the street from me, and was a great neighbor. I remember the first year I moved in, and he was always helping me start my used, hard to start mower. It would take me 10 pulls to his 1 pull to start the dang thing. If I ever needed lawn advice, he was right there to give it. I'll always remember him coming over to see how everything was, and compliment me on how well my lawn was coming along. I'll miss him and his kind heart. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
May God Bless You
