JOHN MEADOR Obituary

John Wilson Meador beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend was born on July 23, 1959 in Richmond, MO and passed away at home on January 1, 2013 in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Talbert Meador, and father, John Henry Meador. John is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Meador, and his adoring children, Malisha, Brendon and Bradlee; his beautiful granddaughters, Haven and Magnolia; brothers, Robert and Steve Meador; sisters, Jolyn Stevens, Cheryl Davis, Karen Dudley, Betty Meador, and many other family and friends. John joined the military in 1978 and proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy until 1996. It was during that time that he met the love of his life, Cindy. They were married on October 15, 1983 and shortly after started their beautiful family. John will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel on Sunday, January 6th at 2:00 p.m. The family welcomes friends for a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The committal service will be held on the cemetery grounds in the mausoleum with full military honors.
