Jon enjoyed many opportunities to see God's beauty and is thankful for the many blessings that God provided for him. Included in Jon's outdoor activities were, hiking, camping, fly-fishing, canoeing, golf and tennis. Jon enjoyed time in Bible Study and in fellowship with small groups including many years participating in Navigator's Prime Time program. He was an active member of Westside Family Church. He was preceded by his parents Ted and Marian Sederquist and stepfather Lawrence Waddell. Jon is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Bev; daughter Carley Phelps and her husband Jay of Littleton, Colo.; daughter Dawn Austin and her husband Mike of Richmond, Ky.; son Davin Sederquist and his wife Krista of Fairway, Kan. Dear Bev,

We were so sorry to hear of Jon's passing. Thank you for making sure that he and I had a chance to tell each other good-by.

As you know, Jon and I go back to our grade school days at Hickory Grove and high school at SM.

He and I have had several occassions to discuss the "good ole" days when we played on the same baseball team, bought our first cars and even discussed Jon buying Bill Stueck's Cushman Scooter to pull a small trailer behind it for his lawnmower.

I'm so glad that we had a surprise meeting in Estes Park, Colorado a few years back. Dee and I and my sister have enjoyed having dinners in your home and down at the boat dock along with sunset boat rides and good conversation.

Nobody ask me, but I think that Jon was called home to early in his exemplary life here on earth. In one sense it was good, so that he did not have to suffer anymore.

Our best wishes go to you and your family.

Dear Bev and Family - I was in Jon's 1957 High School Class, and knew him to be a good guy during that time frame. The fact that he knew the Lord is of the greatest import, and something that I know is very reassuring to you. Sorry for your loss. He left fond memories to you of a husband and father who obviously was a wonderful roll model, and who established a legacy for those who he loved!

Sederquist family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you as you mourn the loss of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who loved the Lord Jesus! What a comfort it is knowing he has now seen Jesus face to face. I always enjoyed spending time in your home and with all of you. Memories of my childhood and time at Country Club Christian would not be complete without thinking of all of you. May God bring you all comfort now.
