Hi Jon - I can't believe it's been a whole year since you left us. I have visited you often - can you hear me? I sure hope so. I miss you so much, I think of you every day. We bought an old '53 Chevy PU and everytime I see it or ride in it I think of you. I feel you by my side while I'm cruisin' down the road! I hope you aren't causing too much trouble where you're at!!! Don't make God too mad or he may not let the rest of us in!!!! I LOVE YOU JON XOXOXOXO

I had known Jon and his first wife, Linda, for many years. Even though I hadn't seen Jon for some time, I've often thought about those days, playing progressive rummy with Jon and Linda until late in the night, stringing popcorn at Christmas time, babysitting their children, and the kindness and hospitality that was given so freely. Jon had such a good sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jon's children and family in this time of their loss. There's just never enough time. Jon will be missed by everyone that knew him.

There's not one of us that isn't a better person today because we were lucky enough to know Jon! What wonderful memories he created for all of us. While he'll be terribly missed, just thinking about him brings a smile to your face.

Jon loved life and anyone who knew him knows he lived it to the very fullest. Jon is a Lakeside Legend whose quest of the sport will be passed down to future racers wanting to know how to make it through that first turn. He's made it home now - and he and his love of life will be greatly missed. Lastly, he showed us how to be courageous. My sympathies to his family and to all his friends.

Jon, you were the best at everything! My favorite babysitter and the best house to go to on Halloween. I will never forget that laugh or the polka dot hat. I love you Jon T.

I've been lucky enough to know Jon all of my life. He was a close friend of my parents & as I grew up, he became a dear friend of mine. I will always cherish the times that we spent together & the appreciation he instilled in me for his love of racing. It's NOT all about the cars on the track and the roar of the engines. It's being around the people you love & sharing special times with them. He was not only my buddy, he was an inspiration to live my life to the fullest & to not worry about what people thought of my choices.

All my heart-felt sympathies to his family & friends.

I'll miss you, Wagner!! ...race on!

Love, Min

To the Wagner family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Jon was such a great guy. I have known him since I was around 4 or 5 years old. He would come into my parents restaurant. Then later he married Mary, and Christine and I went to grade school together. We had a lot of great times. Jon you will be remembered.
