Just got in and saw this message from Glen Taylor. Sorry Donna to hear this but I knew Joe was having health problems. I enjoyed working with Joe at W E. I know you will miss him. Norm

Donna, Eileen and I will miss seeing you and Joe at all our Lee's Summit lunch spots. I was so glad I got to say hi to you both at Miss Kitty's this last Monday. I'm glad you had some good years together. Joe was a great guy.

I taught with Joe's son, Scott Ciafullo for several years at North Rock Creek Korte. Scott would always have funny stories to tell about his father. After hearing these stories, I would always ask, "Now how old is your dad?" He really seemed to live each day to its fullest. I met Joe at one of Dylan's baseball games. He was the coach, and you could tell how much he loved and encouraged his grandchildren. Please know that your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My heart is filled with sorrow for the whole family. I have never met a sweeter man. Joe was kind, considerate, and loving to all people no matter who they were. My family & I loved Joe with all our hearts. My heart will always have a empty spot in it from missing a man who brought me so much happiness. I loved him like the Grandfather I never had.

Joe will be missed by all and my thoughts and prayers go to his immediate family. I remember with fondness the years the Ciafullo family lived across the street. Death always closes a chapter in our lives and we must go on. Joe's response to others was always warm and will be missed.
