I was in my early teens when I entered the Gregg house with Joe & Bill. All of a sudden Joe, Sr, who had a voice that shook the rafters in that big house, would start shouting out chores that the twins hadn't done. They jumped 10 ft & off they went. Joanie, Chinchie & their mother Cap would be laughing! To me the twins were like catching lightning in a bottle! The fun & trouble we got into with the rest of their friends was over the top. I didn't think I was going to live to see 18. When I reached 18 & graduated HS, I enlisted in the Marines & was sent to MCRD Parris Island. While there I got a letter from Mom with a newspaper article saying Bill had died. Joe, rest in peace!

My sister, Terry moseley and myself sherry, pretty much grew up with the boys... We shared our fun teenage years with these boys and learn to love life. William Boon Gregg was so funny and they just were exact mirrors of each other... We were so lucky to have known the boys ... Joe and Bill were officially at that time in charge of all the fun... They created fun every time they came home from school spring break Christmas break summer break. They always had something fun to go and do parties in Loose Park and fun listening to records at Dick Brewer`s house and of course, cruising Winstead´s!!! Joe and his friends were like family to us... All our rowdy brothers is what they seem like... But we love them! Joe will be so missed, and I consider it the end of an era! My condolences to little Joe and his family.

I believe this that Mr. Gregg was a of member of a "duck" club near Amoret, Mo. My parents were acquainted with him and as a child I picked blackberries and sold them for $1 a gallon. I "think" Mr. Gregg was one of those that bought them. I send my condolences in his death.
