Here we are one year later after Joe's death. Even today as I looked thru my photos on my cell phone, I look at a video of Joe's Birthday. It makes me smile though a sad smile, and think of that sneaky little grin when he was about to "get even" as he used say..."I don't get mad, I GET EVEN".
I miss him so much. We shared much in our lives together, that movement in his video is as though he's still here. Love you buddy.
My thoughts are with Jill, Jennifer and Jim and all Joe's family.

Jill, Jennifer, brother Jim and all grandchildren. Joe was my 1st and closest friend when I moved to Platte County in 1968. Joe and I had been hired as State Farm Ins Agents to replace Bill Ohlhausen who was moving into management. We were placed in a small office near Tower Dr in Platte Woods, Mo. We became the best of friends almost immediately. Joe and Marcia and Linda and I sponsored a bus that took Chiefs fans to the games for Pizza Shoppe and Dick Ryan. We had so much fun and watched their kids grow from diapers to the wonderful families that they are today. So Linda and became their family too. At least we sure felt like it. I loved him as a brother. My own brother, had I had one, couldn't have been closer than we were.Joe and I were on so many trips together I can't find room to name them all.One thing certain Joe, a piece of my heart was taken with this sad news.
I will never forget you and our friendship.
Love you buddy..Ron and Linda Adams

Joe was a really good friend and a guy I enjoyed talking with whenever we would meet up.
He was my State Farm rep. but much more than that.
Joe was one of the guys who wore a white hat.
