Joshua K. Steinman, 21, of Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, at the funeral home. Josh was born April 26, 1989, in Hannibal, Mo. He was a graduate of Lee's Summit High School, Class of 2007. He was a member of the wrestling team and was May 2007 Student of the month. He was attending Marine Mechanical Institute in Orlando, Fla., at the time of his accident. Josh's love of weekends at the lake boating, wake boarding and being with his friends lead him to MMI to pursue his dreams and live and work near the ocean. His love for life and out going personality rewarded his with numerous friendships. Everyone will always remember his smile. Josh was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Steinman, grandfather, Norman Hamlett, aunt, Christine Dieckmann, cousin, Shawn Steinman and his "Grandma Bobbie." Survivors are his mother, Lori Danella and step father, Andy Danella, brother, Justin Steinman, great grandfather, Andy Danella, grandparents, Claudia and Charles Barney, Clarence and Ann Steinman, Andy and Glenda Danella and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
