Joy and I first met at William Jewell College in 1957. We then each moved to Platte City, MO where we became good friends and reared our families. We were members of the same congregation, vacationed together, prayed together, and shared our joys and sorrows for more than 50 years. I don't know how many times during the past year I thought I should call Joy and share with her or ask how Janine and Jeff were doing. I miss her, and am most grateful for time we spent together.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Joy. She was a JOY! I was her cardiac rehab nurse at St. Luke's' North. It was a privileged and honor to have know her and taken care of her. She was a special lady and I have fond memories of her. My prayers and thoughts are with both of you. God Bless Maggie

Joy and I were friends for almost 60 years. We have laughed together, cried together, prayed together, traveled together and studied together! I am most blessed because of her friendship. I will miss her greatly.
