JOYCE LEAH (MORTON) ALBEE Joyce Leah (Morton) Albee died on July 8, 2015 at home surrounded by those who loved her. She was married to Dave Albee for 58 years. Together they raised seven children, Yvonne (Bonnie), Valorie, Kevin, Denise Atkins, Dianne Mueller, Lee and Justin. Joyce was born December 2, 1936 in Utica, New York to Howard and Betty Morton and is preceded in death by her sister Peggy Mattox, and brother, Danny Morton. She worked as an RN at Cushing Hospital and owned a Ceramic shop. She worked side by side in her husband's business and was passionately devoted to her family. She was selfless, inclusive and authentic. She loved to travel and most of all loved to spend time with her nineteen grandchildren. She cherished her best friend, Harriett Baghal, and had a loving bond with her caregivers, Dawn Dean, Mary Ferguson, and Lynn Pippin. Visitation will be Tuesday July 14, 2015, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth. Rosary will be read at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 15th at 10:00 am, at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, Lansing. Joyce will be laid to rest at the family plot in Mount Muncie Cemetery following the ceremony. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
