Joyce Faish Obituary

Joyce Ellen Faish, 88, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away June 9, 2009. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone. Joyce was born December 25, 1920, in Joplin, Mo., to Perry Calvin and Mabel Mae Barnes. She moved to Washington, D.C. and worked for the Pentagon during WWII. She enjoyed sewing, music and playing her violin, but her family was the most important part of her life. She is preceded into heaven by her parents, one brother, one sister, and her husband, John. She leaves behind two daughters, Karen Crownover of Kansas City, Mo., Mary Ellen Faish of Prairie Village, Kan., and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Schonfeldt and her husband Patrick of Independence, Mo.
