Juanita Gordon Obituary

Juanita F. Gordon, 74, Plattsburg, Missouri, formerly of Lathrop, Missouri, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at a Plattsburg health care facility. Born March 8, 1933 in Lathrop, Missouri, she lived most of her life in Lathrop, Missouri. On April 17, 1960, she married Cecil L. Gordon, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Gordon was the secretary for the Lathrop School District. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John Dillon and Wilma (Thornburg) Groom; her brothers-inlaw, Donald Gordon and Keith Gordon; and her father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Dean Gordon. (Survivors:) a daughter, Sheri Pierson, and her husband, Kenny, Plattsburg, Missouri; two grandchildren, Michael Pierson, and Lorna Pierson, both of Plattsburg; and three sisters-in-law, Diana White, Ottawa, Kansas, Sharon Gordon, Lathrop, Missouri, and Janet Hamilet, Cameron, Missouri. (Services:) 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service, Plattsburg, Missouri. Interment Lathrop Cemetery, Lathrop, Missouri. The Family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. Monday, Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the MS Society. (Arr: Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service 816-5392162)
