Judy Lynn Pray

Judy Lynn Pray, age 60, a resident of Kansas City, MO, passed away at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, MO, on Monday, June 30, 2003. She was born April 17, 1943, the daughter of Lewis H. and Elizabeth O. (Timmons) Gilson in Ocheltree, KS. On May 27, 1989, in Olathe, KS she married William Joseph Pray. He survives of the home. She was a secretary and LPN for Olathe Medical Center until retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Kansas. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. She is survived by a daughter, Lesa McGuire and husband, Pat of Gardner, KS; a stepson, Rick Pray and wife, Pam of Mclouth, KS; her mother, Elizabeth Gilson of Spring Hill, KS; a brother, Jerry Gilson and wife, Judy Ann of Overland Park, KS; six granddaughters, Megan McGuire, Sarah McGuire and Haley McGuire, all of Gardner, KS, Hannah Pray, Abigail Pray and Marian Pray of Mclouth, KS; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO, on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. There will be a family visitation Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home. Friends may call after 12noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in May Cemetery, Chula, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Hill, Kansas United Methodist Church or to the May Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
