Kansas City, Missouri - Eleta Kay Napier was born June 24, 1952 at Mountain Home, Arkansas. She lived there until going away to college at Conway, Arkansas, where she met her husband. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology at UMKC, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from UMKC. After working in health care administration a few years, she retired to care for her growing family.

She put in many hours volunteering including with CASA and The Children's Place, and later at Meals on Wheels. She was heavily involved at Second Presbyterian Church as the Costume Lady for the yearly Journey to Bethlehem, and helped to cook and serve meals, and clean and tidy up, as well as a number of other activities.

She leaves behind a sister, Venita Duggins in Mountain Home. She also leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Dr. George Postma, and three children, Christopher Sjerp Postma and his wife, Noran, and two daughters, Mira and Lara; Angela Kay Postma-McGuire, and her husband, John McGuire, and two sons, David and Matthew; and son, Eric William Postma.

In lieu of flower please make contributions to Second Presbyterian Church, KC Shepherd's Center, The Children's Place, or your local animal shelter.

A service is scheduled at Second Presbyterian Church, 318 E. 55th St., Kansas City, MO 64113 on Saturday, December 14th at 2 p.m.
