Kenneth Bradshaw Obituary

BRADSHAW, SR. Kenneth E. Bradshaw, Sr., 47, of Lansing, KS, passed away May 18, 2012. A memorial gathering will be held 2-5 p.m. Sun., June 10, at D. W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave. He was born Sept. 30, 1964, in Kansas City, KS, and attended Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, KS. He made many friends over the years through his love of all forms of race car driving at regional tracks and was High School Drag Champion at KCIR two years running. Kenny's love of cars extended to his training in auto body work, buying, selling and repairing cars. Kenny is survived by his loving partner, Arlana Cook; children Kenneth E. Bradshaw, Jr., Kyle Bradshaw and Katelyn Bradshaw, all of the home; stepson Brian (Jessica) Provance and grandson Brenton; father, Joseph Bradshaw; his sisters Denise (Derek) Adams, Deborah (Anthony) Battaglia, Lisa (John) Stuart; and many nieces and nephews. Kenny is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Bradshaw.

I'll never forget all the trips to Lakeside and Pleasanton to watch Kenny race, or him letting me drive when he visited us in Florida. He was always very kind to me, and I will miss him.
