I'm still in disbelief over KC's death. For nearly 5 years he helped me with things I needed done in my large yard. He showed me easier ways, gentle suggestions, and if he saw something to be fixed, he was more than willing. It wasn't just him shoveling snow out of my driveway or trimming my grass, he was also a friend. He was polite, respectful, thoughtful and funny. He would talk at length about his wife Callie and the flowers she loved or where to place the bushes - he so wanted to please her.. He would tell me stories of his beloved daughters and the things they participated in - swimming, dance, oh and learning to drive a car, yikes! But he trusted them, buying the safest car he could find. He talked of things he did to keep his sweet family safe. He talked of the students he taught, of the Special Olympics - I could tell he loved it all, the kids were special to him. He spoke of helping his brother at the farm. KC helped everyone, willingly and happily. I have lost a dear friend and will miss him. The neighborhood will never be the same.

We are still in shock and devastated by the news. We hoped to be connected with Coach Colvin well beyond school. Kevin was a tremendous person. He will always be known for his positive, caring, inclusive demeanor...looking to find ways for everyone to fit in. He encouraged everyone to do and be their best. He was a dedicated problem-solver and a resourceful equipment fixer. There is a hole in our community... a tremendous loss...we've lost a friend...like a family member. Our hearts are broken. We'll never forget his dedication and love towards all. We are so lucky and honored to have had him in our lives. We miss him immensely! Gone too soon...until we meet again. Wishing his Wife, Daughters and Family peace during this difficult time. He will never be forgotten.
Love,
The Kluck Family

Working in the library at DMS, I got to see the amazing work Kevin did with his adaptive P.E. students. He was always so kind and considerate when I would let him into the space they used for class. Seeing his positivity and life was such a highlight of my day. His presence is dearly missed, and my heart goes out to his family.

Kevin and his family are neighbors of my parents. They´ve been neighbors for several years. I know Kevin from riding around the neighborhood on a golf cart with my granddaughter, Brooklyn, He Was always so kind offering us to pet his goats anytime we wanted to. He always had a smile and he always had time to stop and visit. I know he had to pick his heart! He was one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. I know he will be truly loved and missed by so many people whose lives he touched. Prayers and blessings to his sweet family .

I´ve had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Coach Colvin at DMS with students in A.P.E. He was such an incredible person! He spoke so highly of his girls and loved them with all his being. I hope he knows how many people in our community are crying rivers of tears for him. My condolences to the Colvin family. Peace be with you all.

My heart sunk yesterday when I read the email from school. Coach Colvin was a magnificent human being! He was so patient, kind, caring, and loveable. He had charisma and was full of excitement when he was working with his students! My heart goes out to you all and I and my family will keep you in our prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Coach Colvin was so kind and caring to our grandson Gianni. He made sure to stop by track practice to check on Gianni. Coach told me G would run right to him and give him a hug every time he saw him. Your family will be in our prayers.
