Happy 40th Birthday Kristin!!!
I Love and Miss you everyday.

May 20, 2008

Although it seems like just yesterday, it has been one year since our sweet, loveable Kristin left us. Things have not changed, we still miss her sweet smile and her laugh that identified her in any room, or party that you might go to that Kristen was also attending. It's been hard. We think of Kristin everyday and we can only find relief in our belief and faith that we will see her again in Heaven one day. I've seen her children continue on with their lives and I wonder what they think, when they go to bed at night and they are trying to go to sleep without the loving goodnight kisses and bedtime stories that Kristin shared with them. I know God will watch over us and that Kristin is their Guardian Angel, but there is no relief for the pain that her entire family, co-workers, friends, etc. that knew her feel. But, in our hearts she lives on and we still love her as much now as we did in life. Kristin, sweet Kristin, I hope you are resting in peace and that you are waiting for us at Heaven's gates. We still love you as always and we will be together again.
Love, Your cousins, Gary, Vickie and Ashley Saragusa.

Words cannot express the pain and sorrow that Kristin's death left all of her family and friends. She was a fun, loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. She will be missed by so many. But, in our hearts she will always be alive. I can hear laughing now in Heaven. She had an infectious laugh that you would recognize in any room, party, or other place that she might be. God Bless her parents, Jim and Suzi Saragusa and Pat and Larry Quirk. May the many memories she left with us all remain in our hearts forever. Kristin, we miss you so much and we love you more than you can ever know. We will see you in Heaven one day and what joy that will be!
Love, Your cousins, Gary, Vickie and Ashley Saragusa in Overland Park, KS.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and all of her friends. From what I knew of Kristin, her children always came first in her life. Kristin would do anything for her children and her children need to know that she is watching over them. I pray that God will heal us all in this time of sadness. I can still see you watching the Chiefs eating some of my rolled enchiladas. You were a great mother Kristin and you will be missed dearly.

Kim (Haile) Gunther

May 25, 2007

Dear Saragusa Family,
My heart cannot comprehend the tragedy and loss you feel with Kristin's passing. I was friends with Kristin at Arrowhead. Had her and Jay in many classes. I fondly remember her LOVE of Kevin Cronin-you would think they were married--and of ice cream-she once told us in class that she had a bowl of ice cream after school every day--she had the home ec. teacher convinced that it was still a healthy snack!

That was Kristin always making us laugh.
I have not been in contact with Kristin and didn't realize we lived within 5 miles of each other. We ended up going to different High Schools and that was where our friendship ended.

It wasn't until my younger sister Kari told me that she was in radiology school with her that I was kept abreast of Kristin's life through Kari--seemed she hadn't changed much--spunky as ever!

Just last year I ran into Kristin as I was exiting St. Luke's and she was walking in...we exchanged looks and said "Hi, how ya doin." It was just like Kristin to never forget a face and always have a smile. That is how I'd like to remember her.

My deepest condolences,
Kim Gunther (Haile)

Dear the Saragusa Family and Breann and Zain

Kristin was a wonderful and EXTRAordinary person!! From reading all the other entries in the guest book I can see we were all touched by a very special woman, most especially her children. I remember when my brother Russ proposed to Kristin and how happy we all were she was going to be part of our family. She was always laughing and brought life to any family event. Russ and Kristin were was sooo ecstatic when she became pregnant with Bre and then Zain. You could tell they were their "gifts from heaven". Although Russ and Kristin eventually got divorced they always put the childrens best interest first making sure they both showed respect for the other. You could see and feel their committment to the welfare of their children. Kristin was a very caring and devoted mother who loved her angels so very, very much. I am sure she rest peacefully knowing that their father has those same traits and will continue not only his love but will ensure that they know how very much they were loved and treasured by their dedicated mother. I know Russ will tell Bre and Zain everyday how their mother is still watching over them and sending her love now and until the day they die. I am also confident in knowing that together our families and friends will never let them forget their mothers eyes, her laugh, her spirit, her hands, her likes, her scent, her life stories everything that was the true essence of their mother, Kristin. Thru this loving action we will guarantee that she will continue to live thru them forever and ever.

My Dear Kristin
I cannot believe that only a week ago, I gave you a hug before I left. I never imagined that it would be the last time I could hug you, or do a "jumpy" or discuss music or guitar heroes video game.I am so glad I had the opportunity to become such a close friend with you.My heart hurts so much that you are gone, and our office will never be the same without your wonderful smile, laughter and kindness. These were only some of the many reasons we all loved you.
I miss you so much and I want your family to know you were so loved by our office and myself.
I pray for God to watch over your family and your children.
You were truly a beautiful person
With much love

When I heard the news of Kristen's passing their was a sadness in my heart. We hadn't kept in touch since she attended my wedding in 1991, but I thought of her often. Now I'm left with sad regrets that I didn't keep in touch, and share the wonderful person she was with my family. By reading this guest book I can see that Kristen loved, and touched the heart's of everyone she meet, so in her memory that is what we should do follow in her foot steps and share our love with the world. I pray for everyone who is hurting from this loss. Happy to have known such a kind and loving person.

Where do I even begin to pay tribute to the life of Kristin? She was truly one of God's most beautiful creations. As a co-worker probably the first thing that comes to mind was her unbelievable organization. Seemingly equal to that was her accuracy. She was dependable, loyal and of so full of life. Her smile was beautiful and her special laugh was oh so very distinctive. Words can't express what she added to the staff at Northland Bone & Joint. As I grew to know her; I also grew to love her. Her kind and gentle ways will long be remembered and missed. Our loss will be represented in God's beautiful bouquet as one of it's most beautiful flowers.

Kristen was only a baby when I had the privilege of doing my student teaching with her father, Jim, at Highland Junior High in the Turner School District. This was the most beautiful family who loved their children dearly and Jim allowed his love for children to be expressed in the excellent role model of "teacher mentor" that he became for me. His role as loving father and supervising teacher has now successfully inspired me into 30+ years in the teaching profession. I can't imagine how difficult this loss must be. Kristen was such a beautiful young woman who had such a full life ahead of her. May God be with all her family who is hurting so much. My prayers will be with you daily.

Kristin was and always will be one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was always so happy and full of life, so much so it would radiate from her and affect anyone around. loss of her will be felt in the hearts of many. Our children often
played together and my daughter spent much time at her home and through
