Larry Kyle Obituary

Larry John Kyle, 56, died at home on Sunday, December 12, 2004. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, December 18 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Larry was a 1966 graduate of Raytown High School, a 1970 graduate of Central Missouri State University. He received an Honorable Discharge from the Army National Guard in 1976, and was a graduate of Kansas City School of Auctioneering. Larry retired from Jack Cooper Transport Company in 2003 after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sherry. Also surviving are his mother Marie Long; his sister Shirley Bowen and her husband Harry; two nieces, Kally Bowen and Michelle Day; and three nephews, Kristofor Peterson, Mark Hansen, and Michael Moreno; and two great-nephews, Logan and Gavin Peterson. He was preceded in death by his father John Kyle and stepfather John "Jack" Spence, and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lucion Hudson. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, wildlife photography, auctioneering, and spending time with friends and family. He will be missed by many friends and loved ones. The family requests flowers or donations to the American Cancer Society.
