We always called you Uncle Louie, even though we are distantly related. You shared numerous holidays with us. You sat at my moms kitchen table drinking coffee and talking. You knew my dad in school. About 30 years ago you and my dad took a road trip to Utah to visit my sister and her family. But in my eyes, the most important thing you did was to save my mothers life. Many years ago you recognized that she needed medical help. You told her you were taking her to the ER. You insisted! She needed brain surgery. You saved her life. I thank God for you. Rest In Peace and Joy!
