I graduated in the class behind Margie. I remember her as a beautiful, smart and vivacious girl that I always admired. I was so sorry to hear about her death and wish for peace for her family. I am sure they are as lovely as she was.

Margie was an important part of my early life. She was my little sister's good friend from the moment she became our next-door neighbor. (Harry and Elizabeth were also special to our family and brought us much joy as loyal and "fun" neighbors.)

My sister (Pam Stark) reminded me recently of how she and Margie would sit in the car on Sunday afternoons and listen to "The Shadow" on the radio. I had forgotten how much the two of them enjoyed together.

I particularly remember one summer when we decided to entertain the neighborhood with a "drama." I can't remember what we did, but I can picture the canopy/stage and the decorations that we made. We spent days planning and rehearsing. What a creative bunch we were!

My heart goes out to you, her family, and I hope that her courage at the end of her life will give you the inspiration to carry on.

I will send a contribution in her honor to the Susan Koman Foundation. Best wishes to you all. Linda Stark Paschke
