Raytown, Missouri - Marilyn L Johnson, 92, of Raytown Missouri passed away Monday Sept. 9, 2024.

She was born March 12, 1932 in Collyer Kansas. She graduated from WaKeeney High School and then moved to Kansas City.She worked in Insurance till she started a family. She went back to work for the Raytown School District where she worked as a cook till she retired.She loved spending the winters in Mission Texas. She enjoyed playing bridge every week and going to McDonalds daily to visit with friends.She married David Johnson on August 2, 1952. They had two children, Sheryl Jones and David Johnson Jr. She is survived by daughter Sheryl Jones, son David Johnson Jr, granddaughter Nicole Parker (Seth), great granddaughters Allison Parker and Haley Parker and lots of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services at Floral Hills Sept 19 visitation 9 a.m. funeral 10 a.m.
