Becky and I would like to offer our condolences on the loss of your husband and father. We will always have fond memories of Mark as a family man and a great mentor and friend to so many in Kansas City. We will miss him greatly.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Mark Medved. I met Mark on a few occasions, as my mother, Jinny Oberlander, was City Clerk when Mark was Mayor. She has mentioned him a number of times over the years since then. Mom will be 86 this fall and can still recount many facts and stories about Leawood's early years. Best regards to the family and deepest sympathy for your loss.
