Lee's Summit, Missouri - Marlene Ruth Downs, 87, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away March 20, 2023 at John Knox Village. She was married to Melvin D. Downs in 1953 and he preceded her in death. She was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Marlene spent her professional career owning Midwest Bookkeeping & Tax Service. Visitation Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at Norfleet Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO starting at 11am, Memorial service at 12pm.
