N. LESTER Obituary

N. Kermit Lester, 82, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away at the KC Hospice House, Friday, July 8, 2011. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Bonnie Lester, a daughter and son- in-law, Karen and Dave Richards, three grandsons, three great grandchildren as well as extended family and many friends. Mr. Lester was a speech therapist and high school guidance counselor within the Missouri public school system for more than 40 years. His daughter, Karen, along with other family members had the wonderful privilege of walking with Kermit on his final journey home. We look forward to being reunited one glorious day. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, with services at 10 a.m. at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Burial will be in Platte City Cemetery, Platte City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the KC Hospice House. Arrangements Park Lawn Funeral Home, (816) 523-1234.

I remember Mr Lester as a caring individual, a genuine person who took a personal interest in each and every student. I liked Mr Lester, he was kind to me, and I appreciate his friendship.
