Nancy Collins Obituary

Nancy Joan Collins, 64, passed away September 12, 2007, at her home in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born July 28th, 1943, at her home in McCracken, Kan., to Bertha Louise (Schwindt) and Charles William Collins. With her first husband, Larry Bortz, she was blessed with three children, Kimberly, Troy and Bradley. In 1987 she met Larry Kizzar and in 1990 she moved to Las Vegas to be with him. December 18, 1999, they were married. To this marriage he brought his three children, Kirk, Julie and Chad. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Charlie. Survivors include husband, Larry Kizzar of Las Vegas; daughter, Kimberly Klein husband Randy and sons Hunter and Collin Wilson, Ulysses, Kan.; two sons, Troy Bortz and wife Alana, daughters Marissa, Haylea, and Joelle and son Tobias, Overland Park, Kan., and Bradley Bortz and wife Jill, daughter Jamie and expected son Aaron, Olathe, Kan.; two stepdaughters, Julie Kizzar and Shari Schaake of Lawrence, Kan.; stepsons, Kirk Kizzar and wife Virginia three daughters Dannah, Sara, Abigail and son Micaiah, Dillon, Mont., and Chad Kizzar and son Gage, California; three brothers, Larry and wife Pat Collins, LaCrosse, Kan., Bob and wife Pat Collins, Colorado Springs, Colo., John and wife Teri Collins, Rush Center, Kan.; one sister, Susan and husband Don Peach of Colorado Springs; many nieces and nephews and many close friends. We were very blessed with the time we had with her. She is very blessed with the new life and journey ahead of her. She was very special and she will be very much missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in LaCrosse. Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 18, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Janouseks Funeral Home, LaCrosse. 719 Pine Street. Memorials can be made to Nancy Collins Grandkids College Fund in care of Janouseks Funeral Home 719 Pine Street, LaCrosse, KS 67548.
