Nils Conrad Persson, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away December 19, 2020.
Conrad was born in New Haven, Connecticut on October 11, 1941 to Nils and Irene Persson. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1959 and received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1964.
Conrad married Annette Lamothe in 1965. They lived in various places before settling down in Overland Park, KS, in 1979. Conrad is preceded in death by his wife Annette, and is survived by his three children: Michelle Brown, of Olathe, KS, Eric Persson, of Shawnee, KS, Carl Persson, of Olathe, KS, four grandchildren; and several nephews in Massachusetts.
Conrad loved his family and cherished spending time with them. He loved reading, listening to music, and would break out in song at any time. Conrad shared his joy of singing with others by performing with his wife Annette as part of the Senior Barn Players community theater group.
Conrad was a United States Air Force Veteran. He will be inurned at Leavenworth National Cemetery with military honors. Due to the current circumstances, there are no plans for a public service.
