PATRICIA A. (WELSH) JOHANNESMEYER Patricia A. (Welsh) Johannesmeyer, 84, of Lee's Summit, passed away June 25, 2015, surrounded by loving family members. Funeral Mass service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 29, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church with a visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet cemetery. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo., and proud of her family Irish heritage and traditions. She was a founding member of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish and a long time parishioner. She was involved in many church activities and school functions while her children grew up. Later she worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. During her retirement she loved to travel with Herman across the country and Ireland. Her favorite destinations were to see her children and 10 grandchildren whom she enjoyed visiting and baby-sitting. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman Johannesmeyer, grandson, Matt Johannesmeyer, parents, Edward and Monica Welsh, brothers, James Welsh, Edward J. Welsh Jr., and sister, Mary Alice Schieber. Survivors include her son, Herman Jr. (Nancy) Johannesmeyer, children, Herman, Jeff and Brian of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Helen (Mike) Enright of Lee's Summit, children Ryan of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mike of Kansas City, Mo.; Monica (Jim) Welsh, children Corey and Julia of San Rafael, Calif.; Laura Johannesmeyer of Kansas City; Karen (Bill) Walker, children Vincent and Claire of Ankeny, Iowa.
