Leawood, Kansas - Patrick L. Patterson, age 70, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on December 30, 2025, surrounded by family. Patrick was born on July 7, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to John and Maureta (Brown) Patterson.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara, of Leawood, Kansas; his son, Matthew, and his wife, Bailey, of Overland Park, Kansas; two beloved grandchildren, Jack and Ivy; his brother Mike and his wife, Paula; his mother-in-law, Verna Seek, and two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Janet and Greg Eastin, and Pat and Tim Powers. He also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, extended family, dear friend, Tom Cranshaw, his little dog, Misty, and many friends and former colleagues. Patrick will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Patrick's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, located at 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, Kansas, 66224, in the Wesley Covenant Chapel. A Celebration of Life meal will follow in the Student Center. Patrick suggested that guests wear casual clothing.
