Pauline Sterrett Obituary

Pauline Ellen Sterrett, 86, Gardner, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kan. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 412577, Kansas City, MO 64141 or to Crossroads Hospice, 8540 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Mrs. Sterrett was born January 21, 1920, in Kansas City, Missouri to John and Willa (Faught) Lewis. She lived her whole life in the Kansas City area, and was a former member of London Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Paul Sterrett, his wife Kim, and their daughter Kacie, all of Olathe; daughters Patricia Sterrett, Gardner; Barbara Rice and husband Gary, Gardner; Betty Romano and husband Bernie, Houston, Tex.; and a sister, Helen Noland. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Sterrett, son John Sterrett, and brothers Robert, Ralph, Bert and William Lewis.
