My heart goes out to all the family. He was such a bright light for everyone. Always a smile on his face. I'm sorry we missed his service. We didn't hear until after the fact. Please know we would have been there. A huge hug to all of you. We are keeping him and all of you in our prayers. He will be missed no doubt but His legacy lives on in those he left behind.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I was in UNICO in the early 90's for several years before leaving the KC area. Phil was one of the reason that I found UNICO so appealing. He was the perfect combination of intelligent businessman, leader, "get-it-done person" and companionate friend. If there every was a "Mr. UNICO", it was your dad. Although, I only knew him for a short time and only through the club, his "larger-than-life" personality had stayed with me for over 20 years. He will be missed. Last month after moving back to the KC area I rejoined UNICO. Your dad was the first "from the old days" person I inquired about . Sadly, I did not have the opportunity to say hello. Having lost both of my parents, I know first hand how difficult this time is for your family. If it is of any comfort, please know that the respect and affection that Phil earned from everyone he encounter, will keep him in our hearts and minds.
